ASSESSMENT PROCESS
1. Contact or Query
Contact us via email, call or WhatsApp to book an intake interview. Once booked, you will be told what documents to bring along or send us beforehand. These documents are important for the integration of assessment results.
4. Scoring and Report Writing
Once the assessment sessions are completed, scoring, interpreting and report writing will take place. An integrated and comprehensive report will be compiled for the client which may include recommendations that the client may undertake. If a referral is suggested, a referral letter will be given to you along with the report.
2. Intake / Consultation Interview
The intake interview or first consultation entails gathering all relevant information regarding the client and what expectations you might have. The meeting helps determine what psychometric tests should be used or which services or solutions may best benefit the client.
5. Feedback Session
A feedback session will be scheduled to discuss the results of the report. This session is vital to ensure that there is understanding of the results and clarity on the way forward. This session will provide the client with the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity regarding the report.
A hard and soft copy of the report will be provided to the client.
3. Assessment Sessions
Assessments can be done in-person or online dependent on the type of assessment that needs to take place.
Depending on the client's need, the assessment session can be done on one day or split over multiple days. Every client has a different need and may work at a different pace, therefore the number of sessions is dependent on the client and type of assessment being conducted.

Medical Aid Cover
Chanel Wilson is a Registered Psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA No: PMT0100781) and is registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (Practice Code: 1146653) for medical aid claims.
This practice operates on a contracted-out basis.
Clients are required to settle accounts directly with the practice upon completion of assessments in order to secure their feedback consultation.
Please note: no feedback consultations will take place until proof of payment has been received.

After settling your account, you may personally submit your invoice to your medical aid for reimbursement. Chanel does not submit claims on behalf of clients.
Depending on your plan, costs are typically covered from the “savings” portion of your medical aid.

Payment Details
We want our services to be as accessible as possible. The following options are available:

Discount for clients not making use of medical aid

Flexible payment plans are available on request for clients who require assistance with fees.

EFT or cash payments are accepted.

Credit and debit card payments can be made in person via card machine.

All payment information will be included on your invoice.
